How do you track solicitors who will be approaching an individual as well as their place of business?

How do you track solicitors who will be approaching an individual as well as their place of business?

    Good afternoon all,

I would like your opinions on how you track the following situation:

I have a gift officer who is going to solicit an organization for a donation.  She wants to eventually solicit the CEO of that same org, knowing that he may give through the organization, as a personal donation, or both.  When adding her as a solicitor, do you place the gift officer on the organization record, the personal record, or both?

We don't want to artificially inflate her solicitor portfolio by having her name on the person and the org, but she doesn't want it to appear that she is not going to solicit the individual either.

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If she is actually soliciting both the Org and the individual why do you consider that attaching her to both records is inflating her numbers?   Seems to me she is going after two different gifts, even if she is doing it in one visit.
