Dear all,
We unfortunately have a duplicate country entry and I have created many queries in order to merge them into one. I have done constituent, participant, relationship queries and I cannot track down the last few entries so I can delete the duplicate. Is there anything obvious that I am missing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks!
Charlotte
We had this problem with Contact Type and discovered, in part, it was because we weren't quering all the potential places it could be "hiding." Case # 8413822 describes the Find Feature within the Query function that was particularly helpful in identifying all the random places where the data was stored where we weren't looking. Although it didn't completely solve our problem, it made us all :) to discover it!

My suggestion would be, rename the duplicate countries in the International options under Configuration somthing like Germany & Germany1 then you can create a simple querry to group all the duplicates. Once you are done with that, you can use global change to replace Germany1 to Germany and the get rid of the Germany1. Since we are changing the source, we need not to run after each instance of te duplicates. Hope it makes sense
Thanks Anbu - really good idea!
As it happens though, I hvae just downloaded the Blackbaud plug-in for deleting countries, which I have pasted below for anyone else that needs it.
Thanks
