which gift reports do you use?

    Hi

We'd be interested to know what gift reports you use.

In particular, we'd like to use a gift report showing what we expect to receive and compare it to the bank statements. We have regular gifts by Standing Order from various donors.

    Thanks

    Say,

I think the universal favorite is the gift detail and summary report.  It's pretty basic but is also quite versatile.  For receivables, try the cash flow report (under pledges and recurring gifts report).

When I do my daily deposit, I run a Cash Receipts Journal and a Pledge Journal.  These go to Finance with the checks.

For monthly reconciling with finance, we run a Pledge Status Report and a Gift Summary and Detail for the month and year  to date.  For our multi-year Capital pledges we use a Cash Flow report, but all in all my favorite and the one I use the most for quick reports is the Gift Summary and Detail report.

In the Financial Reports, the Gift Detail & Summary report is one of the few canned reports that we actually use. And we use it for alot of things!
