    I am certain this issue has been addressed several times but I am seeking "best practice" methods for receipting gifts of property.  If the gift is from two brothers - do I issue one receipt to both?  (which is what I feel is the best) - do I have to include a detailed description?  I am just curious as to what others do.  Thank you for your time.
