Idea [I] RE:API free for NetCommunity Customers

Some of you may have read the recent press release on our website which announced RE:API will now be available free to NetCommunity customers. The API for NetCommunity has been free since the first release of the software, access to the Raisers Edge API will now also be made available upon request.

The decision to provide the Raisers Edge API is the latest step by Blackbaud to have a more "open" API and gives users advanced development capabilities to customise the database and integrate to other systems.

The software element will be free to any organisations requesting access, annual maintenance contracts will increase and the Blackbaud support team provide a higher level of support. Please contact your account manager for further details.

You can find more details on customising NetCommunity and Raisers Edge on the blog: http://customizebbnc.blogspot.com/

Do you have any stories or feedback on how your organisation uses the API?

Re: RE:API free for NetCommunity Customers

This is great news! All you need to do now is to make it free for Raiser's Edge users themselves. Then it would be really useful! The same rational would no doubt apply...
