    slipstreaming patches

    Hi there!

Does anyone had any luck slipstreaming updates to RE releases? We are using GPO to push out the software and wondering if there is a way to slipstream patches with .MSP files. According to what I was able to locate online the following should do the trick - run on the server: msiexec /a <.msi file location> /p <.msp file location>. Once the .msi file has been patched redeploy the software via GPO. Well ... after command execution .msi appears to be changing in size. But after software redeployment on client workstations version still shows as unpatched. I am relatively new to the administered applications so any insight would be appreciated.
