Hello Katie,
I am June Price from Greenwood County Library. I am looking to write a user manual. I really like the looks of this one from Maine Community Foundation. But I have no idea how to get those beautiful screen shots of RE like they did. Can you tell me how to do that or refer me to anyone who can?
Thanks, June
Hi June,
You can capture a screenshot in The Raiser's Edge using the steps outlined in BB304. After you create the screenshot, paste it in a program like Paint to add the arrows to your images, and then you can paste the images in your document.
Good Luck on your manual!

Hi
A simple way to do it is to use the 'print screen' button on your keyboard. If you have the screen up that you wish to capture, press print screen and then copy this into word. In word you can use the 'picture' toolbar to crop the unwanted bits from printscreen and enlarge the bits you do want.
I use this often.

Thanks for the info. I feel like I am facing a mountain getting started on a manual but I am trying to take it a little at a time.
Get this FREE program to do screen shots....u can control it really well up to selection your area to capture.

alt+PrintScreen only grabs the open window.
Ctrl Print Screen captures the entire desktop and Alt Print Screen captures the top window
Katie... That is a great Idea.. I have created other kinds of Manuals but never used the program like Paint.. I am thinking it may be easier than Word..
