Can anyone tell me how you keep track of your names for the Annual Rport? 1.Where do you enter them in Raisers Edge? 2. How do you enter them if the husband and wife want to be listed separately? 3. Do you enter an "Annual Report Name" for each person on your file that qualifies or do you pull in the Primary Name field and use that? I'd like to hear how others are handling this.

I have created an addressee "honor roll" and then list on the head of household record how they wish to be listed. there are exceptions that I do an editable for or I add an asterix which means I have to change manually

We include an address/sal noted as Annual Report. This works for us when adding to any publication of our donor names. Zoe LaRocca CMH Foundation

We created a salutation, "Recognition Addressee" and pull that for annual report listing and other reports. We also have a note type if someone has specific instructions about listings (e.g., doesn't want to be listed above a certain dollar amount). We then run a report on that note type when it is AR time. Nicole D. It might not be the most efficient but we use Attributes to track the recognition name, it works for us. Because we have different levels of giving and different campaigns. For the Capital Campaign, we have Founder Benefactor $1,000,$2,499,999, Patron Benefactor $500,000-$999,999, etc. In attributes: Recognition - Capital Campaign - and then their name typed in comments section. Recognition - Annual Fund - Recognize or do not recognize and then their name typed in comments section. Because we have soft credits to Foundations they may or may not want to be recognized. Recognition - Cumulative giving - and then their name typed in comments section. Becky Creamer Eisenhower Medical Center [Email Removed]

Oh lordy. That sounds like a lot of work. How do you know at the beginning of the year when they tell you their recognition preference what their final annual giving level will be? I switched from addressee to attribute but then went back to addressee when I realized that the spellings in the Bio and add/sal fields were different from the attribute due to simple typos. Using addressee makes it much more reliable to get the correct spelling (unless, of course, you check editable) I also only use the recognition addressee if it is different from the primary or couple salutation. If they expressed a preference for it being exactly how we would have done it anyway I do not add the additional addressee. Melissa Melissa S.
