Looking for opinions on the different training that is offered thru Blackbaud. Have you had any? WHat did you find most effective? Has anyone been to the conference and found it informative and/or helpful? THanks, just wanted to spend our money wisely! Victoria

Victoria, I attended a combined five days in Charleston, SC last year for A/P and GL training. With a promotional offer for a five night free hotel stay, it was cheaper to travel east instead of attending the regional training. Having not used any Blackbaud software, especially the new Financial Edge, the training was very informative and educational. I really appreciated the question and answer sessions. The reference materials provided have also been very useful to refer to on occasion.

Victoria: I have been to Financial Edge as well as Raiser's Edge training. I also attended the conference in Charleston. All training that I have received has been extremely helpful and informative. In addition, the trainers make themselves available after training to answer additional questions. The conference in Charleston is well worth the money. You will find a variety of classes on many subjects that should be of interest to your particular organization. They are taught by informed individuals who want to make your job easier. I have always been impressed with the training and any conferences that I ahve attended.
