Hey, We are upgrading All components of our RE server. I have install RE Enterprise 7.82 on a new machine with SQL 2005 Standard The old Server is RE 7.71 and SQL 2000 I was under the impression that there was supposed to be some database upgrade process that happens when you attach SQL 2000 DB's to an SQL 2005 instance. I attached the SQL 2000 DB via a backup file, and it worked seemlessly. It did not ask me to confirm upgrading the DB to SQL 2005 so I am not sure if it worked the way it was supposed to. Everything in the BB Mgmt Console says it is OK. Can anyone shed some light on this for me, before I put this machine into testing? Does it not ask you to upgrade if you attach via backup file and not the .MDB directly? Cheers, Matthew Trotter
