My problem involves the integration of RE7 and FE and pledges versus recurring gifts. Development wants to enter gifts that have a specified amount and ending date as pledges. For example, Bob Smith wants us to charge his credit card $10 every month for a year for a total of $120. We would like to enter gifts as recurring when Bob Smith says he wants to give us $10 a month until he notifies us to stop charging his card. Finance wants both to be recurring gifts because it is easier to handle on their end. My concern is with losing all the information RE allows us to keep track of when we enter pledges (total amount, installment schedule, etc.).
