    Pledge Reporting - Help

I feel like I'm having a much harder time with a pledge report then necessary. What I need to do is get a list of all pledge payments that are either due or outstanding. The problem is I can get lists that show total balances, first installment dates etc... But I can't get a list that says John Smith $500 payment is due is Aug 15 (or was May 2) etc... Am I missing something totally simple here? I tried the Reminders Report in Mail but that seemed to be missing a huge chunk of information. Your help in keeping me from going out of my mind is much appreciated. Maryanne Nigro Development Associate/Database Administator American Academy in Rome

I am no help but I am curious to see if anyone else knows. I had this same problem last week! It ended with me quering and hand editing a lot and I don't want to do that again. Good luck, Beth Ransom Foundation Assistant Botsford Foundation

    Pledge Reporting - Help

Try the Cash Flow report and use the time frames to determine when each payment is scheduled.
I usually like to think about what I really need to know and see on a report and half the time, things I think we 'need' and get bogged down in aren't really necessary. If I only send pledge reminders once a month around the 15th, there really is no need for me to see a report with the actual dates scheduled.

Depending on the task I'm trying to manage - I find many of the canned reports helpful. For Instance, if I'm budgeting postage and supplies for pledge reminders next year - I will look to my cash flow reports because I have to break my budget down monthly.

Exports can also be pretty helpful if you're trying to figure out how many quarterly, monthly, etc. installments you may have going - I sometimes use export and query to weed out some like my payroll deduction folks.

    Hope this helps Laurel Quaintance

Use the Pledge Activity Report. It lists the original pledge date, all installments (up to the end date you specify on the report), and all payments.
