Selling in-kind donations on

Our organization is planning to sell an in-kind donation on Ebay and are looking into the Ebay partnership with with Mission Fish which resulted in Ebay Giving Works. We'd like to know if others are using this service and how well it works for you. --- Edited at 6/27/2007 6:13:05 PM by Jessica Portnoy

    Selling in-kind donations on

Hi Jessica--We have used ebay and MissionFish and have gotten along well with both. It's all above board, cheap and easy. We even picked up someone who gives a percentage of her sales on ebay to us, which I certainly did not expect. One thing about e-bay--it's sort of like a huge garage sale and people tend to be looking for bargains. You might be able to get a higher price through a different avenue. This downside, however, can be balanced out by the fact that ebay has a world-wide audience. I have shipped items from our place in Indiana to Italy and Denmark!
