I'm trying to put together an e-mail to direct donors to give their annual gifts through the website. Does anyone have any examples that they would be willing to share? Melissa, I like to use the word "securely" in my communications. I think one of the biggest fears for donors new to web giving is what will happen to their information. But if you try to explain the safety precautions you've taken, you'll lose them in techie speak rather than inspiring them with convenience. I like to include "Give securely 24 hours a day at www.inlandfoundation.org" in my email signature and on my voice mail message. I hope those help! Marc Marc A. Keep in mind that if you send a mass emailing through Outlook, the message will be delivered to the recipient's junk email. We use Convio which "white lists" our messages and delivers them to the recipient's inbox. Here is the URL for our most recent email appeal https://admin2.getactive.com/pvtd/msg/newsletter-preview-html.tcl?newsletter_id=6244904

Is Convio similar to emailbrain? I've been pleased with the response to and the experience of sending an email appeal through emailbrain.com. The site gives you extremely specific feedback on who has received, opened, and clicked on your email. They also evaluate the likelihood of your design being rejected as spam, before you send it. However, they don't use the term "whitelist."

I'm unable to post it. Please visit our website at www.arizonaschildren.org  and click on the subscription management link at the bottom. You'll receive our next enewsletter which is due out next month. Chris LeBlanc Development Administrator Arizona's Children Association
