    Integration with Clearwater First Class

We have a proposal to implement Legacy Management System Clearwater First Class at our site. We have 2 choices. Run it on a standalone server, or as a SqlServer database on the same server as our RE7 enterprise implementation. Without digging into the grain of the respective specs of these two products, I would like to know if anyone recommends running third party products on the same server as RE7. I am trying to build a consensus as to whether it is a good idea or not, or whether RE7 should be left stand alone.

    Integration with Clearwater First Class

Not knowing much about your hardware setup, nor about the resources you require to run RE, I would suggest that, if at all possible, have two separate servers. It makes it much easier to recover one application on a server if it fails or there are issues than trying to work with two. Also if you separate then now scalability is much more easily attained later even if you do not need separate servers right now. David Zeidman Development http://www.zeidman.info
