Dee I have converted from RE 6 to 7.5 (working on 7.6 12 now). The users need to run the set up from the deployment package. If the users have the access to the directory share you can advise or send then a link to that and the user should be able to run it themselves. As for removing RE6 it is very manual, although not a necessity to remove as any attempt to open RE6 will fail after you have migrated to 7+.
