I am new to Blackbaud and need advice as to how you are timing your allocations. I am using the allocation management module to spread the various pieces of my endowment activity to the various endowment projects. The order that I am recording the activity is as follows: New Gifts, Monthly spending allocation (spending Rate/Endowment Income distribution), Interest and div, gains and losses-Realized and Unrealized, and then any cash withdrawals from the pool.
