    Performance Issues

    We've specifically been told to not go to RE 7.81 because it doesn't work with integration. We're on 3.22 PE and 7.80xxx on RE. We plan to stick on those until/unless we have a reason to upgrade. Performance-wise, seems our biggest problem is with membership renew-edit. Anyone else having that specific problem?

    Sorry, I'm slow to get replies and I'm on a learning curve for PE. Seems I entered the forum before our consultants were brought in to shed some light. To that Children's Museum/Vicki - I feel your pain/we should email! Anyway, we currently don't sell memberships via PE Membership Module. We sell membership as a PE ticket at our ticket desk. In order to sell memberships online via PEO, we need to 'turn on' the module. This makes me a little nervous. All I know (right now!) is our RE Membership Module, though the consultant walk-through went fine and looked great. Our organization didn't integrate both PE and RE at the same time. We converted our old ticketing system intou current RE system used by our development and membership department and then seperately installed PE at our ticket desk. We had MAJOR clean up to do in RE before integrating the two, so we thought. Our data came over into RE from a DOS based system (Paciolan). We felt we needed to clean this up - the membership duplicates on the current history were a terrible mess. But we didn't clean PE up (it would've been nice to have been reminded to do so by our consultants!) Both systems have been integrated finally and we're kind of in a workable 'mess' in PE/RE land. Our clean up issues really should've been addressed and guided through by Blackbaud. BUT, getting back to PEO - we're excited by our sales prospects and are moving forward - we'll turn the PE Membership Module on to make PEO sales work (but in the short term we will likely continue to sell memberships as a ticket at our ticket desk, due to staffing issues, etc.). We're slowly getting there! Still any dupe solutions out there? We were also, BTW, told not to upgrade....keep me posted of any membership renew-edit problems..... Regina
