I need to have a income statement report that shows the whole agency at a glance. I have 14 programs and need to show each program in its own column. (Each program has its own department code.) However when I try to print report, I get 14 salary lines, 14 food lines, 14 income lines, etc. I would like to have one salary line with each program salary listed in its own column across the page. Has anyone needed this kind of report and had success getting it to print? Thanks! Brenda

It sounds like you are defining the salary, etc. line by account number, which results in each unique account/department on a separate line. Try using the account code to define the line. Then the salaries, etc. should all be on the same line, assuming you have one common account code for salaries, etc. John --- Edited at 11/2/2006 3:32:28 PM by John Walz

Brenda, If I'm understanding correctly, in Reports you can create an Income Statement with columns for account and account description and 14 additional columns, one for each project/department. You can filter each column for the department/project and fix the header for the column. Once you create the first proj/dept column, just copy it and make change the filters and header. I have had to create similar reports with up to a dozen projects on the same report. I get one line for each category of revenue and expense and an entry, if there should be one, across the line for each column. Hope this helps! Maria Bryn Mawr College

Thank you Diane. I was able to use the sort to get the report the way I needed it.
