Hello - We'd like to create custom pledge forms through RE, like I've seen in the client documents section. Honestly, though, I don't know where to begin! Do we create them through Mail>Appeal Cards? How do you design the template?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! If you can point me to a Knowledgebase answer or some other online help, that would be great.

Jennifer, we use a custom pledge card, I use export to export the data to crystal where I have "template" for the pledge card. We have pre printed pledge cards that have the basic information printed up, then just print the giving history and other information on the card. The appeal card design in RE is based on the design of the pledge forms that you can purchase from Blackbaud. I do not use them so I do not know how much they are customizable.

We use a mailhouse for the bulk of my mailings but I do occasionally have to create my own and I use a Word merge and in Export you can create a Simple Word Merge for something like this. *** I can spell, I just can't type. Where is spell check?

Thanks to all for your replies - my apologies for taking so long to reply - I thought I had turned on the function of getting an e-mail for each reply, but for some reason was not alerted :( Michael - thank you for directing me to the "other" forum!! And for sharing your template. It looks very similar to what we are trying to do. I will e-mail you with a specific issue I'm having.
