A few of our teachers are having problems with their gradebooks. In one example, the teacher wasn't using categories at all, just points, and the average for the marking period was wrong for some students. I deleted one of their grades and retyped it and magically it corrected itself. I wish I understood why the program does this! In another example, a teacher was using categories and had incorrect category averages. His lab average for a few students was 1000. How can you have a percentage over 100? This teacher didn't use any extra credit either. Again, I retyped the lab assignments and the problem was solved. Some of his student marking period averages were wrong too. This time retyping their grades wasn't working, so I retyped the category averages and it worked. Both of these teachers are Mac users, not sure if that has something to do with it. Any suggestions? Being a MAC supporter in schools, it is not meant for grading, this year we made all of our teachers move to PCs and have not had a problem that anyone has made me aware of yet
