I am trying to create a first time donors report and its not coming out correct. I want donors who have given for the first time with in a two year date range and who has never given BEFORE. I keep getting donors who have given in the past and only first time donors in two years but gave 6 years ago with the New Donor Report, should I just do this in query? I just simply need to know who is a first time donor as of January and never, ever gave.

You would think the New Donor Report would pull those people for you correctly. I've only used the New Donors Report once so I don't know a lot about it, but you should be able to get it to work by restricting it to a query. Save a query with criteria of first gift date in the range you specify. Click on the "include" button at the top of the general tab in the report setup, click "selected records" and select the query you set up for the report. Johanna Johanna M.
