We are going to post progress reports to NetClassroom. Because we are going to hold some reports for various reasons, we will filter those students out. However, does anyone know if there is a way to have a message "pop up" for those families whose reports are being held that says maybe "call the school" or something to that effect? Thanks!

Jan, We have a similar situation that we use for holding report cards. What I do is generate a special report card for those students that only contains text, no grades or other information. The text will say something like - your report card has been held due to xxx, please contact the business office. I then post this special report to only those specific students. Once they have ben released, I post their real report card. It's a bit of work, but we don't have a lot of holds and it is fairly effective.
