Our organization has several multi-year pledges. A problem arises when we try to blanace with Accounting: The canned reports only show the whole pledge, rather than the current year amount due...I have tried every combination of canned report, to no avail. Basically, Blackbaud told me I need to develop a Crystal report that shows current year, and not 'pledge pay-future' (the subtype we use when posting over to the GL for not current year multi-year pledges).' We are integrated with FE as well, and a report is essential to match. I need to create one for Corp/Foundation as Individuals. If I can figure out one, the other should be easy. Try the pledge status report and select option 2 in the crriteria. This will give you previous balance (from from the last report) Allow you two report on the status of the pledgfes for a specified time period only. It what I use to reconcile with the auditors on the business side.

i use the pledge activity report. Under the gift filter tab, i select option 1 and 4. This report gives you all the pledges (past and current), and the current balance. it also shows you any payments that came in for past and current pledges. this is the report i always use to reconcile with the GL.
