Post to Third Party General Ledger

Has anyone developed an interface with a third party general ledger? My school uses Skyward school administrative software and we just added Raiser's Edge for gift administration. We are trying to decide where to put our GL account number. We are planning to use GL account number as the Fund ID at this time.

I don't post to any ledger but I do know that our GL codes vary by gift type so we use the GL codes set up on the Fund for each gift type and just use a alpha numeric code for Fund ID. My users don't need to know the GL code and I think it is easier to navigate and report on. melissa *** my spelling is fine, it's my typing that stinks. Where is spell check? Melissa S. We use Quickbooks for our accounting. We have to connect it through the GL Distributions tab when we create a new fund. Becki Allen

My GL distributions TAB is blank, and I cant see how to add items.

We also will be using Quickbooks premier, Is there a GL module we need?

Under General there is a tick for Blackbaud General Ledger present which is blank. not setup.

    Many thanks
