Hi, We are a Day School looking at using the Automatic Scheduling Module. We already use EE, but have not tried this yet. Can anyone offer up their experiences? Thanks!

My first question to you is what is your role with respect to the software? Before you think about using this method it would be to your benefit to first analyze how your classes are scheduled manually. Is it unique with a mixture of cycle days? Are some classes held at different times that would make it difficult to create a matrix that encompasses the majority of classes? Once you understand your business rule for scheduling then create a scheduling team (teachers, registrar and a tech person) to create a scenario that would be ideal. It may necessitate creating a schedule that is part automated with room for manual revisions. Hope this helps.
