We are using the EFT option. We had Capital Business write a query for us to merge in Word email to notify the payees of money deposited to their account, what invoices and amounts on invoices were included in the payment, date of deposit and bank deposited to. It's working very well. If you don't have the extra piece then you will need to print and either mail/fax so the payee knows they got the money - this didn't make much sense to me as it was not different from printing a check and mailing.

We also purchased the EFT option. It is useless to us. When payroll processes an EFT it includes the information that is needed. I have just stopped using it in payables. I can process a check in less time and it has the information that is needed on the receiving end. We purchased this to process child support payments because by EFTing the payment through payroll deduction it did not keep a running record of each employees payments nor when they went out. This is because it is just a dispursement of wages. Due to disputes over what is being paid, a record needs to be printable of total vender payments to child support. This is just one example of why we purchased the module, but it has been wasted money. Donna F. Smith Rappahannock Juvenile Center [Email Removed]
