We use RE 7 but do not have the Event Module. We have a number of cultivation/information events (non fundraising)that we want to track invitations to and attendance at. Without the Event Module I am looking for suggestions on what tabs/fields of RE 7 that people may use in this situation. Thanks for your help Tom Mulligan

We do have the event module, but despite that I track invitations sent on the Appeals tab. On the appeal tab, you can track their response to that invitation. For attendance, I would create an attribute of Events Attended and then have a table of all the events.

We've used Actions for this kind of event -

Category = Meeting
Type = Invitation
Date = date of event
Status changes from an initial Invited through Accepted/Declined to Attended/Didn't Attend with a few other options such as No Response added for good measure.
Notepad Description and/or Action Attributes used for name of the event. Action Attribute is good because it's easy to query on in the future.
Notepad used to keep track of everything else.

Even though you can't link Actions to an Appeal for real detailed gift tracking, you can at least assign them to Funds and Campaigns which might be enough.

You've also got options like Default Actions and Action Tracks which can help with data entry and management of any follow-ups for cultivation.
