    Running Custom Crystal Reports

Hi, I had been exporting to excel/access and creating and running Crystal Reports outside of Raiser's Edge since I started working with Raiser's Edge, last July. It was suggested to be by our account manager, Court Creeden that I should use Custom Reports, so I wouldn't have to do the reports in a two step process (first do the export and then refresh the external Crystal report) and so I set up the export as a Blackbaud MDB file and created the report outside and then created the custom report by attaching the Export and the external Crystal Report to ithe custom report. When I am running it, the export is executed but after that, when RE tries to run the report, I get the error message: "Cannot open SQL Server, error:599" I have looked at Solution Number: BB135842 and haven't had any luck. Blackbaud says we don't pay for Crystal Support so they won't help. Can anybody please tell me what I need to do to run the Crystal report from Custom Reports? Found the solution thanks to Blackbaud - I was doing the database linking through "ODBC" instead of "Database Files" in the data explorer under Crystal reports. Though the Blackbaud Export file has MDB as the file extension, it is not really an ODBC connectable file.
