    Annual Fund progress

Hello all, I'm new here at the Science Center of CT and as I'm learning about the history of the Annual Fund and gauging how we're doing this year, I've been asked to find out how others are doing. I'm just looking for general information, basically, how's your Annual Fund progressing compared to last year, preferably from other children's museums or organizations similar in size to us. Here's our information: The Science Center of CT has an operating budget of about $3 million, and draws about 200,000 visitors a year. The Annual Fund goal is $160,000. We're at 83% of the AF goal with four months left in the fiscal year. We usually have about a 55% renewal rate for the AF; we're running behind that this year, about 40%. That's all I'm looking for, so I can give a reasonably accurate account of how we're doing compared to others. If you don't want to include actual figures, that's fine. Just let me know if your organization is similar in size to ours. Thanks in advance for your response as I get a handle on things here! ****************************** Dawn Veillette Diana Development Manager Science Center of Connecticut West Hartford, CT 860.231.2830 x51 [Email Removed]
