    Acknowledging Event Program Ad Purchase

How do we appropriately acknowledge the purchase of a program ad for an event. What is the Fair Market Value of an ad in a logal event program? Do any of you have samples of language you use for these acknowledgements. Melissa S. Graves Manager, Development Database & Direct Mail Planned Parenthood of Connecticut [Email Removed] 203-752-2804

    Acknowledging Event Program Ad Purchase

Melissa, If the ad is only says something like: Verizon salutes Planned Parenthood of Connecticut for 75 years of outstanding service to the community! There is no value and we give 100% tax credit. This is the only type of ad I've accepted at any organization I've worked at. But if the add says: Buy your pigs nuckles at Joes Hog Farm of Stratford for only $2.99 a pound. Call 555.555.1234. I would suggest contacting your local paper and get the going rate for the size ad you are selling. Michael J. Sherman Donor Services Manager The Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay 1307 N.
