Membership Standing As Of a Particular Date

I've been trying to work with Blackbaud (many calls, many hours) to no avail. Forget what the knowledge solutions state.

    I need your help!!!

We wish to figure out our Active Members on a particular date (actually we'd love to compare two dates) and what category they belong in. There does NOT seem to be way to do this.

The Comparative Membership Statistics report includes Lapsed Members.

It was suggest to run that report and run the Lapsed Report and create constituent output queries. Then, to sub the Lapsed from the Comparative queries.

But this gives us the constituents and not the Standing. I would then have to export out ALL their memberships and do major manipulation by hand (this is even worse if someone has two membership records - which sometimes is valid).

I am always being asked to see a "snapshot" of our membership on a particular date and never can seem to get it unless I do MAJOR work by-hand.

    Anyone have any suggestions.

I've found this to work using a panel in dashboard. Tami Lee

But I want for a date in the past - there does not seem to be a way to do that on the panel either!

Membership Standing As Of a Particular Date

About 16 months ago I created a job in SQL Server that runs at 11:30 PM and captures how many active/lapsed/dropped constituents in each membership category. These numbers were then saved into a table. I am now able to produce historical graphs for management that they are very happy with. I can provide you with the SQL statement needed if you are interested. Dan Kimble Database Technician Home School Legal Defense Association [Email Removed]
