When writing a query I ask it to exclude particular details, however if I wanted the record to displayed if it had other actions is there a simple way around that.

At the moment I construct the query to exclude an action that contains a unique word in action notes. Which will exclude the record of all other actions is there any solution or am I grasping at straws?

Sounds to me like you are trying to do an Action query in a constituent query. Think of it like this. Are you trying to find which CONSTITUENTs have or do not have a specific action, or ar you trying to list all actions for a specific group of people but excluding a specific type of acton. If your anser is the second, you will need to do an Action query. If your answer is the first, you will need to provide more detail. You might need to do a merge query.
