We are finding it difficult to have a simple process for encumbrances. We create purchase orders in Financial Edge then our dock enters receipts on those purchase orders. There is often a significant time gape between the receipt of the line items and the invoice. We usually accrue dollars on unreceipted purchase order line items. Have you developed a process which accounts for items received but not yet invoiced?
