    eRequisitions Technicalities

Hello Everyone: My organization continues finding technicalities on eRequisitions. These technicalities go from accounts that do not display budget to the tremendously desire to give the end-user the ability to change their own password thru eRequisitions. I encourage other clients to post their eRequisitions technicalities and possible workarounds that have been created. Let’s help each other. Thank you, Mauricio Zegarra LaGuardia C. College / CUNY

Mauricio: We just purchased the eRequisitions Module, what do you mean about technicalities? Have you been able to solve them? Right now I have encounter that when creating the Purchase Orders some of the fields from the requisition are not being transfer, like the Requestor, department, etc. Did you have these kind of problems? Thank you. Ricardo Latap HACU

eReqs is a decent first step in having an electronic purchasing system. Aside from whatever technical issues that surface from customer to customer, it does need a basic overall in how you are able to sort information, moving from screen to screen, readily seeing budget verses request, etc. It is my understanding that Blackbaud is in discussion with a 3rd party vendor to improve their offering in the field of electronic purchasing. I have strongly encouraged them to make this happen ASAP. I realize this doesn't help you today. We've used the eReqs system since 7-1-04. Thanks for the insight. I think, for what I have seen so far, that is a good system. I just encounter a small problem with carrying over some of the default information from the erequisition to the Purchase Order at the consolidation of the line items. Also the issue with the password with the users that only access the erequisition module. Again, thank you for the information.

How is everybody doing with eRequisitions? Does anyone have created any workaround to its technicalities? Has anyone reported technicalities to Blackbaud? Are they addressing them? Any insight will be helpful. Thanks!
