What report do you use to review pledge collection rates? I have called tech support several times to no avail. I can get the following:

-The activity report provides a detailed account of all pledges and recurring gift activity including payments, installments and balances (dollar amounts) due during a certain period of time.
-The not paid report only includes pledges with a balance (dollar amounts).
-The pledge status report includes pledge activity (dollar amounts) falling within the reports date range for pledge after a date you specify.

NONE of the reports gives information that accurately reflects pledge collection rates (total # paid and total $ paid to compare to total # and total $ pledged). It just seems that this should be a basic function that RE should have in the pledge reports. It would be nice to be able to calculate a collection rate on the fly with just one report instead of having to look here and there for counts to compare to the report totals.

Am I missing something? Do you have any suggestions?

For all capital campaigns I enter all gifts as a pledge first even if it is a one time check sent in the mail. This makes all the standard reports in RE very helpful. But to answer your question, the only report that looks like it may be helpful to you in Version 7 is the Campaign progress Report. On gift types include ony pledges and pledge payments no other type of gifts.Be sure to mark the PLEDGE BALACNE OPTION under gift types. The report will provide a breakdown by constituency of 1. dollar amount of pledge payments with number of donors, 2.dollor amount of pledges outstanding and the number of donors, and then the total of the previous 2 combined.
