    Attributes: Special Mailings

    We're just converting to RE7.
We have many special mailing instructions (send journal only, send 2 copies, send first class, etc) that we use. I'm wondering if it would be better to record these special instructions as a constituent attribute or as an address attribute. Does anyone have a recommendation?

I would (and do) use constituent attributes. For some things we use solicit codes (on Bio 1), such as One Appeal per Year, Magazine only. Either one works, just be consistent and know where to look when you do your query. Barbara McIntyre Philadelphia Biblical University 200 Manor Ave Langhorne PA 19047 215-702-4394 [Email Removed]

We use constituent attributes. I think address attributes would work but whenever you use NCOA or change an address you would need to move the attributes to that new address. Melissa S. Graves Databse Administrator Planned Parenthood of Connecticut [Email Removed] 203-752-2804
