    Annual Reports

In order to publish donors' names in the Annual Report, do you need to ask their permission?

    Annual Reports

I do not actually know if you NEED to but it is certainly good practice. We notify donors on reply deivces that donors over a certain level ($100) are listed in our annual report and allow them to give a preference for how they are listed. It allows them to check of an anonymous box which essentially takes them out of the annual report. I think you will get a better result if you use an opt out - we will list you unless you tell us not to - rather than an opt-in - please check here if you want to be listed. It is a good thing in an Annual Report to have a long list of donors. Melissa S. Graves Manager, Development Database & Direct Mail Planned Parenthood of Connecticut [Email Removed] 203-752-2804 P.S.
