    Annual Receipt for Pledges

    We are trying to issue end of year receipts for tax purposes on paid instalments against a pledge.

    Rather than allocating a receipt number per instalment (and hence a receipt per instalment) we want to issue one receipt (annual)covering all paid instalments for the financial year.

    Is RE set up to do this or is there a Crystal Report that can be made up or is someone willing to share?

    The gift type for our pledges is "Pay-Cash" should we be using something else.

    You can code the record as Consolidated Receipts in Bio2/Receipt Type. At the end of the year we receipt all the consolidated ones at one shot, including our monthly donations. If you want to know more about our method, email me. Rose Benavidez

    Take a look at the Annual Statement report. It sounds like exactly what you need. I export this to word add the standard "no gifts or services" language and provide the donor a receipt for all his gifts to our organization for the entire year.
