    Clean Addresses

I'm new on RE7! Most of my joint constituent accounts are showing the MAIL TO is checked for both the primary - preferred constituent as well as the spouse. I do not want (2) pieces of mail going to the home.
Also, all alternate addresses on RE6 converted to RE7 marking this as the MAIL TO address and designated it as preferred rather than the BIO 1 address that appeared on RE6.
Would any of you savy RE7 users share with me the best way to clean this up? HELP!!! Thank you in advance for sharing. Zoe LaRocca

I am not sure if I can be of any help, but let me try.

In RE 7, when using export or mail, you choose which address to send to in address processing, choose either primary or preferred. Two pieces of mail will not go to the home, only one piece of mail.

Hope this will help you! Let me know if you need more of an explanation.

In you mail or export you need to decide on your head of household processing to avoid duplicates mailings to spouses. If you only want it to go to the head of household you need to check that box.

How are the addresses that should be the preferred address marked? Is there anything common between them that you can query on and expoert them only to re-import them after changing the preferred to yes? Melissa S. Graves
