We just installed RE 7.7 and found the way action notes are entered has changed. It is now consistent with the way regular notes are changed, but requires extra data entry to indicate note type, description, etc. I'm getting a lot of flack on this from my directors, who think the old way was better. Personally, I think it was a good change from the stand-point of consistency. Has this change bothered any other users?

We have the same problem here. They pretty much have been told to deal with it. They had 2 big complaints. 1) there are too many steps and 2) they have to look for notes in too many different places now. I did show them how to set up a default action, so to save a couple steps (sadly you have to do a separate keystroke to get the notepad default to show up). I also have made a custom view that shows just notes from the Actions tab, Notepad tab and Proposal notes. So the grumbling is less...or at least they don't grumble to me anymore.
