We are trying to all get on the same page here as to scholarship money given. Not named, but just general tuition assistance money. If your institution gets "general Scholarship" money, how does your business office handle the money? Does it go to the operating budget or a special interest account....? Thanks for any insight. We run it through the operating budget but have it assigned to its own project number. We also include it in a 'pass through' expense account along with a few other similar pass through expenses. This allows us to analyze the operating budgets with or without these expenses included.
