    Tickler System

What is the best strategy for setting up a reminder that can  help alert me when I need to send out donor reports on a cyclical basis?

    Re: Tickler System

    Hi Yunis,

I have reminders in RE for recurring actions. I set up the action and when the action is completed I set up a follow-up for the next year. I do this for annual contribution reminders that don't have pledges associated with the gift.

I also use my Outlook Tasks for recurring reports not tied to a specific constituent.

    Hope this helps.

Do you have a plan the outlines how you deal with data hygiene. I have to write an implementation plan  that shows how I am dealing with data hygiene issues in RE. I truly appreciate your input.

    Yunis,

I run some audit queries each month to see who is working in the database, and in these I review staffs data entry for our entry standards. I also review the tables in RE for new entries which are on the bottom of the table until I sort them.

I have a constituent search query that all staff use to search for constituents (has more in the output section than BB's query), this reduces duplicates. I've attached my RE Tips & Hints procedure for you.

This is the data hygiene I run. Melissa Graves, also on the Forum does a lot of data audits she may have something different.
