    Volunteer Query

How do I pull a query of Volunteers whose Vol Types are ALL Inactive? Example: I have a Volunteer who has 3 Vol Types. 2 types are listed have active status, 1 type has inactive status. This person should not show up on my list because they are active. I only want people who have 'inactive' for every Vol type.

    Volunteer Query

Dear Kim, Yes, this is possible in RE queries, you have to play with summary information of volunteer fields and your queries should read something like Where Total number of active volunteer types =0 and total number of inactive volunteer types > 0. You can drop me mail off the forum on [Email Removed] and I can send you screen shot of the query I have used to get only those volunteers where status of all volunteer type = Inactive. Have a great day! Sincerely, Dinesh --------------------------------------- Greytrix Blackbaud Development Partner [Email Removed] ---------------------------------------

    Volunteer Query

Another option that might be more familiar would be to merge queries. Take a query of anyone with an inactive volunteer status and subtract a query of anyone with an active volunteer status. The results will be anyone with an inactive volunteer status, but no active volunteer status. HTH. Drew Allen Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
