Looking for an experienced Database Manager for an open position with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and NW Indiana.

Reports to: Director of Events. Working closely with CEO, Director of Marketing & Development and Business Manager.

 Specific Responsibilities:

1.       Enters accurate donor data, philanthropic gifts, and constituent information through Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge computer program.

2.       Prepares accurate and timely gift acknowledgement letters

3.       To produce statistical and analytical reports on donor activity. These reports will include philanthropic dashboards for various events and marketing appeals

4.       Manages the maintenance and coordinates upgrades on Raiser’s Edge with Blackbaud and CNI staff.

5.       Maintains database security policies and disaster recovery plans.

6.       Processes labels and updates Donor information for newsletters, marketing appeals, event invitations and other mailings.

7.       Prepares diagnostic queries and coding analysis to insure accuracy of reports.

8.       Point person and primary support contact for any technical support for the charity.

9.       Prepares timely Date/Report Request Forms received from Development Staff.

10.   Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

1.       2 years experience with database management, preferably in a non-profit.

2.       Experience in using Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge required.

3.       Fluent knowledge of all MS Office applications; Word, Excel

4.       Excellent organizational skills for a team building environment

5.       Upbeat, pro-active attitude

Office is located in Oak Brook. Hours mainly focused around 9:00am-5:00pm. May vary during busy event season.
