Is there a way to globally write off pledges on a date prior to the date I am writing off the pledges? Example: I want to write off pledges through 10/31/09 on 11/15/09 and I want the system to think the write off was done on 10/31/09. Purpose: to pull future reports as of 10/31/09 that reflect the write offs done after 10/31/09.

The global write off process has a checkbox that says 'create query of gifts written off'  Check this box when you run the process to write off the gifts. It will prompt you to name the query - name it something like 'write offs to change date to xxxxxx. Then go to the global change process (admin) and use that query to change the date on all those gifts.
