    Job Title: Administrator, Development

    Term: Full-time (replacement)

    Location & Summary:  Toronto, ON

    Are you a skilled relationship builder?  Are you an excellent team player? Do you take pride in the work that you do? This role provides centralized data management, receipting and acknowledgement, cash and banking procedures as well as administrative support for all fund development programs. 

    Essential Duties entail (but not limited to):

    • Provides data management, receipting and acknowledgment as well as administrative support to all fund development programs including: Gifts from Individuals, Organizations, Corporations and Events..
    • Ensures all donor information provided is accurately entered into the database following established standards, protocols and policies and within standard turn-around times.
    • Coordinates fund development banking procedures processing, depositing, assists with reconciliation, receipting, acknowledgement and recognition protocols.
    • Responsible for entering donations and correspondence with donors, setting up events, entering participants, sponsors, and all relationship information that is collected in the donor management system.
    • Collects and compiles reports for all fund development statistics and data. Attends meetings as requested and prepares reports, agendas and minutes/notes of meetings. Handles, prepares, distributes and provides follow up on correspondence, presentation materials and reports as assigned.
    • Orders and administers the inventory of print and product collateral. 
    • Assists in all fund development programs as required.

    Qualifications: (Education, Training, Experience)

    • Minimum College Diploma in Office or Business Administration.
    • 2 years experience working in a fund raising environment.
    • Demonstrated working knowledge of Raiser's Edge, Microsoft Office, and the willingness to learn other software.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Superior customer service skills.
    • Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles.
    • Knowledge of the operation of special events and fund raising management.
    • Experience working with volunteers.
    • Proven track record in time management.
    • Professional attitude, self-starter, and flexible.
    • Valid G Class Drivers' License and willingness to drive within Ontario.

    Salary Range: Commensurate with Experience
