Is there any way to track or report on when or who made global changes to records?  Or, how can you track changes that may have been made with tables/attributes?  It need to resolve some training/security issues but this would be incredible helpful in the meantime.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

You can do a query for to track some changes.  "Last changed by" and "Date last changed" are options under constituent fields and under gift fields.  For constituent record changes it would include any changes listed below.  Doesn't really allow query to filter down to just changes to an attribute.

From knowledgebase BB52917, it describes how you can check it on an individual record.

Note: Clicking the Properties button on a constituent record displays the Date Last Changed field and Last Changed by for the constituent record. This field is updated with changes to the constituent's:

• Biographical information (Bio 1 and Bio 2 tabs)
  Addresses (Note: The Date Last Changed and Last Changed By fields for the addresses are updated when you save the constituent record, not when you save the address.)
• Attributes
• Volunteer information
• Prospect information
• Membership
• Spouse information
• Notes
• Constituent Appeals
• Addressee/Salutations
• Media
• Honor/Memorial information
