    Querying an uncommitted batch

I am interested in running a query on a gift batch before I commit it.  Can this be done?  If so, how?

    Thanks,

    Andrea

This cannot be done (I don't believe). The gifts in the batch are not real gifts on records until you commit the batch. Once the batch has been committed you can search for gifts that are from a certain batch but you cannot do this until the gifts have actually been created.

    Re: Querying an uncommitted batch

Until you commit the batch the gifts will not appear on the constituents account. As long as you aren't POSTING the transaction, when you are committing the batch you still have the opportunity to fix an entry before posting through admin.
