Edit Setup After Batch has been committed

Is there a way to edit the batch setup after it has been committed?   I often hide many of the fields that I have pre-populated when I am entering data into a batch and almost as often, I forget to unhide the fields before I commit the batch.  The end result is that the fields that I have hidden are hidden forever more.   I know the info is still visible on the individual record, but it is no longer visible when I open the batch.

Open the batch, go to TOOLS/EDIT BATCH

Make the batch recurring and then go in a make whatever changes you need. If you're not going to use the batch again - take the recurring option off.

Another option is to open the committed batch and go to the Edit Menu -> Hide/Show Columns.  This is useful if you're just looking at it once.  If you're going to be reopening the commited batch again later, then the Recurring option is best.

I tried that but I didn't see the 'Hide/Show" column as an option.

It is an option under View (file, edit, view... at top of window.)  Third line down.  Did you find it?
